The undergraduate education studies minor will provide opportunity for students to explore interests in educational functions involving children and adolescents, such as museum and galleries, parenting, child and youth organizations (ex., boys and girls clubs, ymcas, ywcas, churches, synagogues, mosques, scouting, 4 h), civic governmental child. B.a.: adolescence education, social studies the adolescence education: social studies program requires completion of an appropriate arts and sciences major, chosen from one of the following majors: anthropology, economics, history, politics or sociology, while simultaneously completing a second major in education, with courses in pedagogy that are specific to the content that will be taught. The b.a. in interdisciplinary studies program exists to meet the needs of undergraduate students whose intellectual curiosity and career aspirations will not be best served simply by completing existing major and minor offerings.
